It is normal to be really stressed during the holidays. However, a high level of stress can cause depression. It can also make a case of depression worse. There is a difference between the “holiday blues” and depression though. The difference is that the “holiday blues” only occur around Christmas or New Year's. On the other hand, depression can happen to anyone at any time. There are some things that you can do to manage your “holiday blues.”
